Christmas Soul
December 29 – 6:00 p.m. – Piazza del Popolo
SPIAGGE SOUL HOLY FELLAS (ITA)
A group formed during the Spiagge Soul summer festival, which has become a symbol of the most authentic soul of Italian gospel and blues.
The band, led by the voices of Gloria Turrini and Bruno Orioli, will be accompanied by an ensemble of top-level musicians and a female choir directed by Daniela Peroni, for an evening full of energy, spirituality, and deep vibrations.

December 30 – 6:00 p.m. – Piazza del Popolo
GINGA IN GOSPEL •  BACK TO BASIC (ITA)
One of the most charismatic voices in Italian black music will take us on a journey to the roots of gospel, revisited with contemporary sensibility.
With a close-knit band and three extraordinary gospel voices—Claudia Milan, Gaia Bettin, and Serena Defranceschi—Ginga will offer an intense, engaging, and groove-filled show, rediscovering the great classics of the genre with new expressive power.

December 31 – 11:00 p.m. – Piazza del Popolo
GOD’S ANGELS SOUL OF GOSPEL REVUE (USA)
The square will light up with God’s Angels’ Soul of Gospel Revue, led by Knagui, an artist from Pennsylvania and student of the legendary Twinkie Clark. The concert will mix gospel, soul, funk, and jazz, transforming the square into a huge collective celebration.
On stage, an international lineup of musicians from the United States—including Ronnie Coleman Jr., James Brown, Kristina Dorsey, Marleny Rivas, Simone Hill, Alijah Singleton, Kenny Skinner, and Eric Linson—and Italy with Stefano Nardon will put on a rousing show designed to celebrate the arrival of the new year with rhythm, emotion, and great spiritual force.

DJ LELLI – SUPERFUNKEXPERIENCE (ITA)
A pioneer of Italian funk, vinyl collector, and professional DJ since 1983, DJ Lelli will take the audience on a magnetic journey through the most powerful grooves in the history of funk, transforming Piazza del Popolo into a huge open-air dance floor.

January 1, 11:30 a.m. – Teatro Alighieri
MARQUIS DOLFORD & THE CAPITAL GOSPEL GROUP (USA)
The festival will close with an event of great intensity: a concert by Marquis Dolford & The Capital Gospel Group, straight from Washington, D.C., one of the most important cradles of American gospel music.
The group will perform a repertoire that combines spirituality, African-American roots, soul, and blues, with refined arrangements and extraordinary vocal strength. An intense, profound, and enveloping experience, capable of ushering in the new year with emotion and authenticity.
